I started Forever Clean with my son, Nick, and I quickly learned that he is the best business partner a father could ever ask for.
Nick was only 16 when I first enlisted him to help me deliver, pick up, and service the 28 units we launched with in 2005. As any parent of teenagers knows, sixteen-year-olds often have other things on their minds than helping their dad after school. But Nick stuck with me, and for the next few years, I was proud to watch him dedicate himself to the family business and grow into an intelligent and hardworking young man.
Things changed when the recession hit in 2008. Nick and I watched many of the people in our community struggle — and they weren’t alone. As the local construction industry slowed, we saw a drop in our business as well. We knew we had to find a way to continue to serve the businesses and individuals that were such an integral part of our lives, so we decided to diversify.
We began offering affordable septic services to help our neighbors and local businesses keep their homes and facilities sanitary. We invested in new technologies and new products, seeking innovative ways to help the people around us keep their properties and worksites operating safely and efficiently.
Today, 15 years later, Nick and I are still working right alongside each other. We’re the only company in the area to offer everything from dumpster rentals and luxury VIP portable restroom trailers to advanced septic services. We even provide high-tech drain blockage diagnoses to identify problems in septic systems.
People know that when they call us, they aren’t just calling another porta potty company. They’re calling a family that cares about keeping the community safe — a father and son who always aim to find a solution to our customers’ problems today, not tomorrow.
We’re proud to be the people our friends and neighbors call on, and we intend to keep up the tradition of serving our community in 2020 and beyond.
Sincerely,
Scott Tart
